  1. In the 1st plc this shows that the parents have not been watching obviously.. wht have they been occupying during.. let me guess on the phone

  2. Where in blue blazers were that little boys parents? I never took my eyes off any of my children long enough for them to get themselves in a predicament such as that. OK Son/daughter you want to try and win a prize??? We'll try that together. Love my children too much for that to happen. Not going to say what I think of that kind of parenting.

  3. The staff didn’t have a key? Maybe another company refills every week or so. Idk
Not able to pick the lock? Or get someone to pick it?
Try getting him out the way he got in? I’m assuming he squeezed trough the prize opening.
Feels kinda bad to destroy the machine. I feel back for the owner. Idk if it’s a locally owned establishment or a franchise but still. I’m sure it’s expensive to replace.

  4. Meanwhile, I am just looking at the civilized police officers, without guns, serving the people.

  5. Irresponsible parwnts how in Gods name could they not see him lift the flap then climb up into the machine , its my guess they helped him to get in to steal a prize check the plaza cctv then sue the awful parents

  6. ????? Don't the store need to refill those? No key?

  7. Could this be considered a form of child neglect by the parents?

  8. Hopefully his parents pay for the damages and for the toy they took.

  9. This has happened countless times!! Why hasn't this flaw been fixed??

  10. I love the ending! The police officer offers him a prize LOL 😂❤❤❤❤
    America COULD NEVER!! 😡

  11. This is so ridiculous. How long does an adult need to turn eyes away from a toddler for the kid to go inside one of these? Keep an eye on your kid

  12. WHO IS PAYING FOR THE GLASS??

  13. I wonder who put him in there?! 😅

  14. What an easy fix this could have been.

  15. Wait a minute; you smashed the glass on somebody’s machine, and now you’re gonna steal a toy from it? Parents of the year.

  16. Dumb cops, could of just drilled the lock and slid the glass to the side. Keeping the kid safe and doing minimal damage to the machine. But no you rather send the owner a headache on repairs and the bill to the parent for the repairs. Cops are lazy at your expense.

  17. I'm apologizing in advance for the length of my post, I just hope people will take the time to read it, and understand what I'm trying to say …. Thanks
There are so many right and so many wrong comments in this post…
yes the parents or guardians whoever was responsible for the child should've been watching him. And yes there are some who truly are neglectful… However, anyone who has ever experienced a child disappearing from their sight or doing something wrong, after taking their eyes off them for just a minute, (and yes it can happen that quickly), knows the panic, heart stopping fear and the self blaming that you go through in these situations. That to say they failed as a parent is not fair nor needed. Yet to make light of (and 😂), the situation in response to the comment isn't right either. The fact is that these things do happen and although in most instances the child is located quickly (or not harmed) … there are too many times that there are grave consequences.
As for how the hell the child got in the situation (my first thought also). Yes, children at times can appear to be Houdini's, getting into the hardest to imagine places. Then again if you've ever saw or played one of these machines, regardless of how big the opening is, they are made so that when the you push the outer cover to retrieve your prize, there is an inside "door" that closes to prevent theft… which is why it's so hard to fathom (not only that a child could so quickly accomplish this), that no one, in a busy open mall space, took notice of this child climbing inside.
As for justifying getting the child out, as they did. I also wondered why they shattered the glass. The child wasn't harmed, wasn't upset and honestly he was probably safer in there than outside of the machine. That shattering the glass could have caused more harm/ injury to the child. And yes since the owners of those machines, usually aren't on the premises, or close by, they should at least respond at the phone number on the machine and/ or have something in place if an issue should arise, like an arrangement with someone near by, locksmith/ repair shop who could respond quicker. Or better yet, having a key for the locks secured with mall security (or a screwdriver and directions for removing a glass panel), and if they don't, then they should be responsible for the repair costs. Another "safer" option would be to use a glass cutter, which you would think, someone, mall security, maintenance (or even the police if they had to be called), would have easily available. That way the police wouldn't have to be called, for something that obviously was not an emergent situation 🤔.
One last thing, I did assume that the gentleman talking with the police, and who was able to give the child direction, and have the child follow them, his father…. however after the comment that was made about the "mother" laughing about the boy peeking. I thought did I miss something? I understand that it's important to keep the situation calm, and that it not uncommon for someone to nervously laugh in stressful situations. However my biggest revelation was, how do we know that he's the father he could be an uncle, family friend someone, the child knows & trusts, who was responsible for the child. And the woman who was laughing, how did you assume that she was his mother??? I actually went back and watched the "Short" 2 more time to check, and at no point did I hear it mentioned that the man was the father, (as I said above that I assumed this, because of by his actions). Yet the woman could have very easily have been a bystander, who had nothing to do with the child, reacting to the sweet child trying to peek…. And if that was the case, it was very wrong for anyone to make the comments that they did. Saying the parents were neglectful, that they failed as parents, that CYS should be called etc.

I believe that everyone has a right to their opinion, that is if they have all the correct info about the situation.

Sorry for my blog here… may be I'm overthinking. Its just that too many times I come across posts like this and after reading through this one I just felt the need to say
That the big thing is that, those who comment should really stop and think before they throw a comment/ response out there, whether it's to the post itself or to someone else's comment.
This world might be a little nicer if everyone did 🙃.

  18. Where were the parents of that child? Hopefully they will be charged for the damage to the machine. Take care of your children.

  19. The opening to that machine had to have been huge….for the huge plushies inside to come out.

  20. I tell you those hello kitties are trouble 😅😂

  21. The owners of these claw machines have to find a way so small children can't crawl into these machines!!!!!
    🤔😬🙄😕😯😲🤔

  22. He crawled in, understood to get in a corner, why dont you tell him to go back out the way he got in? All the praise and laughing after? You will be doing it again. He learned that this was funny, so I'll bet he will be repeating. Hopefully it won't be something dangerous next.🙄

  23. Figured they would wait for the person who has the keys.

  24. Was nobody watching this child?

  25. How did he get in there? Did they have to break the glass? He should have been able to squeeze out the same way he squeezed in. The parents should be paying for the broken glass and clean up. Where were they when their brat climbed in?

  26. If the father/or an adult didn't keep an eye on the little fella,is it any wonder kids go missing?!!?

  27. How did he get in without his Father noticing??Were they too impatient to wait for a key for the boy to be let out??
