Aafra, known as the “miracle baby of Syria,” was born underneath the rubble of her family’s home after the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that killed thousands in Syria and Turkey. Aafra was the only surviving member of her immediate family and is now being raised by her uncle and aunt along with their own seven children.
