Terribly sad news. Fortunately he has a great support system and the best care. Unfortunately cancer is the great equalizer. I've had it 5 times now and often joke saying that's hopefully it spares someone else that I've got it again. Presently I'm battling brain stem cancer. It's OK to laugh in lieu of tears it keeps us stronger.

I'd be shocked if he did not catch it early. If I was as wealthy as him, I'd have an MRI scan every 3 months.
IF he has prostate cancer, the prognosis may not be bad. I have heard doctors say that "… a man may die WITH prostate cancer, but he likely will not die OF prostate cancer." I hope that whatever he has is easily treatable and he will recover completely and soon.

I'm SO sorry to hear about the King, and feel SO sorry for the Queen too – what a worry for them both! It’s such a worrying time. I just lost my partner and brother from Cancer.Both went into hospital with other issues – came out with a Cancer diagnosis – becoming a bad habit of the NHS! I do hope that while the King is recovering, that the Queen takes over ALL duties. We need stability. I like Prince William – but I’m not ready for him. Perhaps because it’s not five minutes since we had a change of Monarch. God Bless the King. As for hospitals; my advice KEEP AWAY! They can’t leave anybody alone; you go in with one thing – you come out with another… It’s their job to FIND something wrong with you; not to give you a clean bill of health – they’d be out of business – and sadly that’s what it is… I hear Prince Harry is coming over; I just hope he comes on his own please! We don’t want the King under any stress.
