They could have saved their son, who was begging for help. With mental health care, he could have gone on to lead a better life, and no one would be dead or injured.

Yes they should be accountable, as in BOTH parents. Hopefully Dad is equally charged!
They just don't know much about the world. Its just a job to them. They dont care. At the end of the day, thet just want to go home. It takes a special type of person. A person who has no problems sleeping at night. They just smile on there way to the bank the next day like they earned it

And now the two defense attorneys of the crumleys go to the crumley's house and go well it's up for sale now you get half of the proceeds from their house and I get the other half of the proceeds from their house and both of them get sent to prison. Amazing your clients lose their cases and the lawyers get a free house. Clicking their heels at stealing houses off citizens that law degree is paying off better than if they had become a doctor instead.

They bought him a gun knowing he was fifteen, took him to a shooting range, and kept it unsecured with minor. That should have secured a conviction regardless of any mental health condition.

You could tell there was something wrong with her son he didn’t look normal shame on her. She should’ve gotten 100 years in prison.
The mother needs to be guilty. In previous news stories, she had an affair with her husband, had a cat named Dexter, and ignored her son's mental health issues. She needs to be ashamed of herself.

I guess it’s easier to lock up accidental criminals or criminals by association than real hard core criminals. Rather a parent or not watch what you do. Loan a friend your car they go shoot somebody during road rage are prosecutors coming after you for supplying the car? It could happen only time will tell. This is such a tragic story. Of, huge stupidity, wholesale, stupidity. From these parents. That must not have much more than a, 7th grade education. Maybe I'm being generous there? They are all from my, Home Town area. I came from, that exact area. And there are some really dumb people there. While it's okay to be dumb. It's not okay to be this kind of stupid. There's a difference between dumb and stupid. Just such a tragedy.. Another tragedy that didn't need to happen. Because a 15-year-old wanted a gun.

I think theres a good possibility demons can be real. These things just happen and fhey will continue to. There js nothing we can do to stop it. Cant blame both. Either blame the larents or the kid. Especially when the kid was communicating his feelings to the parent.
If a person is hearing voices and seeing things, they shouldn't be made to beg for help! They should get it, no conditions attached! Regardless of age or ability to pay!

Now, any child who commits a crime (any crime) will now have their parents put under a parenting hindsight microscope. Yes, the facts HERE were egregious, but aggressive prosecutors will now go after more and more parents for a range of crimes. Be careful what you wish for.

If he was turning in homework with graphic images and writings, and the teachers brought it to the attention of the parents, and the parents done close to nothing, why didn’t school officials do something and kick him outta school, go to elearning until the parents complied with some counseling and a psychological evaluation?? There were school personnel who knew how potentially dangerous he was too, at least one or two.

This didn't have to happen! The NRA encourages individuals to buy firearms without regard for the safety of society at large. Responsible gun ownership (i.e. a gun safe!) use to be their motto, but now it's profit over people!😑
