There are offensive strikes and there are retaliatory strikes (done only in response to the killing of almost 30,000 Palestinians) – may the President and his team have the wisdom to know to respond fairly between the two, the grace to give the other side the benefit of the doubt when they say they will no longer counter strike (this after all is what successful Hamas and IDF negotiations needs to be based on), the decency to avoid further loss of lives, and the foresight to know when to consider a more peaceful resolution to avoid further escalation and potentially catastrophic outcomes.
