A pod of killer whales that was trapped in drift ice off Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido has apparently safely escaped, officials said Wednesday.

Is it possible to attach bags or containers of SALT to the drones which are opened or unlatched via remote control to then fall on the ice to melt it along a path to the open sea? The salt can also make new holes a mile apart for the orcas to breathe through as they travel, and the holes would also point them in the right direction.

Show me the channel in through which the exausted marine predators could have escaped (as they can remain underwater for very limited time being mostly surface hunters). Plus they stayed without food for a long time. I do believe only in uncontrolled leakage of radiactive water from Fukushima
