A pod of #orcas which appeared to be trapped in drift #ice off the coast of Hokkaido in northern #Japan have escaped, local media has reported.

  2. If an orca can travel 35 mph and they can hold their breath for 15 minutes. Then it would only take about 2 and a half minutes to travel away from the ice with plenty of time left.

  5. Their "body language" suggests they are just taking a breather. They are obviously not distressed.

  6. GLOBAL FREEZING IS BACK! Must feel bad that mankind has poluted the earth and now we are going to all freeze to death. Save the killer wales who could get trapped in the ice!
