The US could have stopped the torture of Palestinians before Oct 7th and prevented the backlash onto the Israeli hostages and people. If the US wanted peace they would have put more pressure on Netanyahu to a cease fire now and stopped funding an extreme right wing govt that doesnt care about its own people besides their own extremist supporters. Netanyahu &Co. have a carte blanche, to do whatever they please no matter what the cost to the US and the world. Netyahu &Co, extremists want the Gaza/West Bank to be Israel and they wont stop their evil tactics, not even on their own people, until they get that land. We can all just sit back and watch the horror unfold. So sad!

The people of Palestine are not superhuman, they suffer just like any of us would in life. This situation they are forced into is beyond what most of us will ever have to deal with, hopefully. Humans must maintain their higher ethics and wisdom and love each other as much as possible. We must use our wisdom to search between the lines and know the truth of all of this situation, the history, and our own abilities to know what is right, what is real, what would you want if it were you, what can you live with. I pray for peace ASAP, within and without for all.
