Surely that wind speed should have stopped at least truck traffic? In UK they stop highsided vehicles in 40 mph crosswinds. Good people struggled to help in winds that took down that lorry!❤❤❤

Wow so windy, the people that ran to help were really having to struggle into the wind.
I handled long distant cargo claims. Truckers earn every penny. The truck is usually their own they have very few insurance choices; 95% of the trucks I handled were insured by Lloyds of London. Driving in the winter is dangerous, and many of them don’t have worker’s compensation! Many accidents are caused by drivers who try to pass without adequate clearance. They just don’t earn enough!

Wonder what cause driver lose control
There are certain times of the year that the Santa Ana winds just stay that way. Most truckers usually try to drive by driving around the state lines of CA. To get to wherever they need to go to. There are areas that are not as dangerous to drive through. But this guy never should of been on them in the first place. To light in weight sideways winds 65 mph. He was a disaster waiting to happen. Thank God no one was hurt. Its a nightmare situation for First Responders. People get mad about cops shutting down roads to have to keep the scene safe for Responders. But I had a friend who was a medic. And literally got bolwn over a bridge railing helping move a gurney to an ambulance. She spent 2 months in the hospital and another year in rehab. Do whenever you are told not to be on the roads. No matter what the reason is. STAY OFF THE ROADS.
