Maybe because SCOTUS agrees with three Democrat Colorado Supreme Court. Read the dissenting votes by three Democrat Judges on the CO court.
If it is proven Presidents can be kicked off the ballot, that opens the door for both parties trying to sabotage each other's candidates.
Whether you like Trump or not, kicking him off won't be good in the long run.
The rightside of history is criminal can not have their name on any state's ballot. All states should unify with colorado state.

I think they are worried more about how crazy Maga people will keep normal people off other ballots in the future. Hopefully they believe we voters will keep Trump out of office by vote.
I disagree with him being allowed but it seems his group should be required to pull him from running, so they would still have had a candidate. He shouldn't have gotten to the republican primary. Then it wouldn't be a state issue.
