Does a President have to be charged with breaking the Law and found guilty in a Court of Law BEFORE the House of Representatives can file Articles of Impeachment with the Senate? NO!!!

"Shall have engaged in" is NOT "Found guilty of."
The last section of Section 3:
"But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House REMOVE such disability."
It does NOT require Congress to apply it, it grants Congress the authority to give them BACK that right.

What's sad is that I genuinely believe (as a Democrat from Central Texas) that even if The Supreme Court ruled that Trump did engage in an insurrection & should be banned from running for President, given what has happened over the past couple of weeks I could imagine the Republicans governing my state would defy that decision because they are that loyal to Trump.
