I like Laffer. Studied his work in MBA school. But I did not like Reagan. WEP and GPO. On a different topic, I fully support Trump on the nato countries not paying their fair share. I would try to lift every American out of poverty. I'd be worried about making sure America gives me, as President, the highest approval numbers.
I'd also take cues from our Republican Party and I'd close our borders and keep other dis-infranchising noses out of the U.S. most sensitive information.
If I was president I would lead like Trump will in 2024. I won't play games with American lives or taxpayers money.
I would try to bring up poor into upper class and make things cheaper, make energy go down. Invest in many nuclear reactors and build out our grids.
Expand trade with our allies.
I would work day and night trying to find ways to make America the best country in the world.
I'd make Chicago New York red states.
Major cities would be Republican
But I couldn't fix our 34T debt.
But I wouldnt spend taxpayers money instead I'd ask them what they want.

I work in the orthopedic industry. There are layoffs in the numbers we have never seen before.and the reason the company tells us that it is because of high interest and large inventories. The Fed is damaging the economy.

President Biden has demonstrated that investing in Infrastructure is a far better economic strategy than just helping the hyper-rich to squirrel away more money out of reach of working Americans. Bidenomics has prevailed over Reaganomics, but because Republican policies have created such a wealth gap, many Americans are certainly feeling left out.

The economy isn't strong! How many things have you bought in 2023 that only cost 3% more? Nothing. Everything is up 15% to 200%. So if the economy only went up 3% then we are selling fewer but more expensive goods and services. In constant currency, we're in a recession. THAT'S why the layoffs – companies know they're selling fewer things so they need fewer people. And that's why no one feels like the economy is good. Wages aren't keeping up so they are cutting back, driving people into poverty. It's only a matter of time before that snaps and then we have so few people working, the supply chain takes a hit and then we're in stagflation.
