I am an old vet and he has been told to lie like Hell probably so they will spend more money to build more space weapons to make the military industry more money. We have had them since the 1960s and even had a space war with the Soviet Union that began in the mid 60s with both sides using "killer satellites". You would be amazed at what we had in space half a century ago.
