  1. How stupid do you have to be to build there in the first place…or be allowed to…

  2. climate scientists really aren't bluffing!

  3. Not the best place to build a house

  4. People were warned 50 years ago.

  5. A plug for the climate change scam 😂

  6. You build on a cliff near the coast and wonder why nature is chipping away at your home.

  7. Insurance Companies must love ensuring these homes. Act of God is no joke.

  8. Not my problem all of us will be dead by 2100 😂

  9. If it weren't for California the nightly news would be boring, feel bad for all those affected.

  11. I used to have a house overlooking the ocean… now I have a house on the beach. Same house."

  12. Water doesn’t give a 💩 who you are.

  13. Ya reckon how many millions of dollars the pelosis will claim. The storms are mother nature but somehow the dems will blame it on global warming and try to add a 2 trillion dollar bill to the budget

  14. Seas have been rising since the ice age. More people will make it better.

  15. Sea levels are not rising, they are cloud seeding.

  16. Dear Los Angeles, we don’t care about your mostly normal winter. Signed, the rest of the nation.

  17. This is a natural process deserts that used to be large bodies of water land that was temporarily yielded by oceans now be reclaimed things that have been happening for millions of years and just like the Dinosaurs humans are only on this planet for a certain amount of time then one day will also go the way of the Dinosaurs.

  18. This area can never be stablized. They built their homes in the wrong spot beginning a few generations ago not knowing about what type of soil was beneath them. No amount of money will fix it no matter where it came from. Not even the money saved from eliminating public sector unions and the massive useless departments in this leftist state would be able to fix it.

  19. 🤣This has been happening for centuries its normal for the planet to rotate and shift
The sun is getting larger ,solar storms destroying the atmosphere
    Humans destroying the ozone layer
    AKA climate change

  20. As a struggling middle American this makes my heart happy to see these leftist commies become one with nature like skid row residents

  21. Literally nobody feels bad for these people.

  22. Those Homeowners Literally Wanted to “Live On The Edge”. 2100? That’s about 76-Years Away, I Seriously Doubt the Majority of the People Watching this Video will be Alive in Year
    -2100.

  23. O no. 1%er seasonal properties at risk. Gasp

  24. 1:36 I took a geology class years ago. I'll never forget what my instructor told us. 'Never build a house along a river, stream….and cliff.' there will be a point not today, not tomorrow, but in 5, 10, 20, 100 years that waterway will rise or cliff will give way to erosion . it's not that difficult people.

  25. 0:54 — Ah … I used to know a geology student named Mike Phipps. I hadn't seen him in almost four decades. But now there he is, an all growed-up real live geologist! Belated congratulations on putting that degree to good use, Michael.

  26. Do not build on the cliffs.

  27. I glad to have an adviser who is excellent in what he's doing , you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach and song your praises on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Andras Bohm!!!!..

  28. Duh, building on coast line

  29. That dude is going to be dead in a hundred years from now

  30. Lol…. Do we really want to show empathy to rich people. They care less about the common people. They have insurance and millions

  31. Who could of ever guessed the houses by cliffs would be in danger. I mean it was some smart people who probably thought of the idea, how could they be wrong?

  32. Eh. “By 2100”, nothing we need to worry about. 💯

  33. Why city gave building permits to those owners before building those cliff hanging houses?

  34. it should be illegal to build a home on a cliff or mountain side. what were these people thinking?

  35. Don’t believe it, global warming is fake, this is fake news, all computer generated lie, this are not real people, 💪💪💪💪💪🤦‍♂️

  36. I remember in the 50's an 60's having super storms in Southern California and the Pacific Coast Highway was always being closed due to land slides. Storms well before that caused the Corps of Engineers to build flood control basins and turned natural drainage channels into huge concrete drains. All of this before anyone ever hear of al gore. Sorry to spoil the grift! The Indians used to say "one thing is for certain – there will be change".

  37. When Will Arizona be beach front?

  38. And I’m supposed to care for millionaires homes that they built on a cliff why?

  39. At this point, I can care less about home owners that lose their houses built in areas they KNOW are sliding. It's their own fault. Let them deal with it.

  40. Building a home on a cliff proved that climate change is real?

  41. I know where youll be 100 yrs from now😊

  42. Gotta love the ostriches on the comments denying sea level rise. Don’t trust NASA or anything. https://climate.nasa.gov/vital-signs/sea-level/

  43. E-RO-SION
    RA-IN
    TI-DE
    IN-SU-RANCE

  44. So, California will lose 2/3 of its beaches?
Does this mean they'll turn into deserts, mountains or valleys?

More likely California will lose 2/3 of coastal homes as they are now.

  45. They’ve been warning about this literally for decades. The hydrogeology there is dynamic due to forces out of our control. People just have to get that million dollar view up there along the bluffs but there are risks associated with it. If you live there you have to take the good with the bad and start HEEDING those warnings.
