Good job. I was raised on my grandparents full ranch and would use a tractor and a team of ranch hands to rescue a stuck horse from a sinking mud pit and once a quick sand pit. It’s not easy and must be done with caution to prevent panic and injury.
We also had a horse on an “ island” after a tornado and flood hit together and it ended up stranding itself with no safe way to bring it in. My grandfather went out several times each day to talk to her and take feed across until it was safe enough to guide her back.
