Sure, tax revenues from the top earners go up, business economy goes up, and everyone – NOT just the poor – does better. THE QUIET PART: The wealth gap ALSO increases. But the problem isn't so much the tax rates as it is our own GOVERNMENT, and what it (stupidly and corruptly) DOES with tax revenues. As gov't and its hydra bureaucracy get larger, so it's slide into Socialism and Totalitarianism become faster, until not even the very wealthy are safe from tyrannical rule… only those at the top and their partners.
