They did not even know if he had put them in the box or another WH worker by mistake. Trump was asked for the files and told them for over a year ha had none. Then admitted to having some and sorted out what to hand in and what to keep. Told his Lawyer lies that all were handed in when he hid them. Still deigned having any right up until the raid. Then said he had a right to have them and they stole them. This is all a very big difference even when his LAWYER told him he could not have them. He still has some hidden and still has the Russian Folder missing from his last day in office.
