  1. Yoga is a form of worship for Buddhist. I would not ever do yoga, I am a servant of God. πŸ™πŸΎπŸ‘ΌπŸΎ

  2. What? I don't understand this… it is an exercise and if its painful, just slow down. What a dumb story.

  3. I'm trying to figure out what the story is here. It seems to be that the average American is too ignorant to realize that they are foolish.

  4. Is this a joke?? Holding our arms over your head? Is NBC becoming the Onion?? I'm sorry but this just seems like a bunch of losers who thought they were a part of an elite group.. but they're not.. and now they feel stupid… because they were.

  5. Why didnt they leave sooner?

  6. I disagree with the clinician, who is guessing her way through this interview, that raising one's arms over head and/or not being "strong", is not enough to create actual issues in the tissues or physical harm. If humans were that vulnerable to perceived danger the human race wouldn't have survived.
I have been studying pain for the last 15 yrs and it's astonishing to me how many in a science based field, are so science illiterate, and don't fully understand how pain works. This is in fact the number one reason that there is an opioid crisis, misinformation and sloppy clinical thinking.

For those who are interested, sensations of discomfort, biologically speaking, is just an alarm to get our attention. The sensation of pain is because the brain has determined there may be a potential threat to our shoulder joints if we continue our static arm raising posture. WE ARE MADE TO MOVE.
99% of our daily perceptions of (msk) pain are due to mostly us not moving enough and/or holding relatively static postures for long periods of time. Eg; sitting. We also don't engage in enough novel or different kinds of movement and lots of repetition of same kinds of movement. Which is probably why crossfit is so popular, because it invokes high intensity dynamic movement, and our brains are very happy about that.
In summary, pain is not an indication of harm. Please repeat that 100 times and pass it along.

  7. Girl when you do yoga nevera feels good but after yes Jesus people Jesus Jesus welcome to America

  8. There was a time when a person would go to a class.or program and if it was not a good fit, then you would leave and never return. Now people go and they tattle when they leave. So sick of these stories. They sound like cry babies

  9. Students were encouraged to share deep secrets and traumas with their YOGA class??? No thank you. That's nutty.

  10. Wohooh exercise hurts them ,yoga hurt shouldn't they should think its problem with their own body .Yoga is lighter exercise

  11. Just Say No- what's so difficult?

  12. This women are full of crap

  13. Help me understand what I'm missing here… is itbjust me or is this seeming like a low substance suit

  14. Male Yogis that get a lot of female followers are often narcissists and abusive on some level.

  15. There was no after care. That statement is so traumatizing. Can JP Sears do a bit on this story?

  16. Yoga, just like any physical activity taught intelligently, is adapted to body types. There is an aspect of challenge inherit to the practice. Trauma safe space does not mean that no one will have their feelings hurt. Part of yoga is learning to take responsibility for oneself and one’s feelings. Repatterning samskaras, emotional patterns and wounding, is part of the practice accomplished under the guidance of a skilled teacher, intelligent āsana, and pranayama, breath work. At times, students may need to prioritize trauma informed practices of nervous system regulation. It is sad to hear of these accounts; the Yoga Alliance is the governing body for yoga teacher trainings that attempts to standardize quality yoga teaching.

  17. Uh? Woke BS women. Shave your pitts and be a real woman.

  18. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  19. Oh no, yoga required discipline and was hard… omgπŸ˜‚

  20. Anything that is spiritual in nature can and will be used to manipulate vulnerable people by some, so be very wary.

  21. Trust in Yeshua.
You can trust in Yeshua! He gives hope & saves those who trust in Him. Repent, be obedient and know His never-ending peace, mercy, faithfulness, grace and love.πŸ™πŸ½πŸ•ŠοΈβ™₯️
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, love God and each other!!

  22. Wow so dangerous: holding your hands above your head even when you aren’t strong enough to do so. Oh the abuse!

  23. No matter what angle or point anyone wants to make or blame, THE problem is the fact that something that was NEVER created to be an industry became one. PERIOD.

  24. Is the from The Onion? Are they kidding ?

  25. One joins a fitness group that was inappropriate for you? Quit. A donation-based program as well. If anything the story shows that people need to employ some level of vetting and common sense.

  26. doesn't take much to get an interview on TV

  27. Well if they now want Money…. To late the IRS took the first step…

  28. People need to take personal responsibility for their choices.

This is absolutely ridiculous lady said she was 21 years old when she started doing this and then she says now looking back as my adult self who was the 21-year old that's an adult okay and you everybody should know their own limits you never push yourself to the point of hurting yourself no one else knows what your capabilities are only you do so if you exercise beyond your capabilities it is your fault

  31. There was a woman who either killed herself or was murdered in my "Female Leadership" class at Google and NO ONE, including me, complained about "lack of mental health services/after care." -_-

  32. Yoga is mote than weird…it is a cult and Satanic!!! It's a physical prayer to a Hindu God that is not mine !!!
