A waterfall illuminated by the sun created a visual “firefall” in Yosemite National Park. The “firefall” phenomenon happens when the sun sets and hits Horsetail Fall at the right angle, creating the illusion of a lava-like stream.

Do they still make a huge bonfire at the top of the falls and then dump the burning embers over the drop-off making for an incredible firefall. It was a site to see, that's for sure!
