The HELL WITH THE POLICE their job is to keep the PEACE and they fail every time….abuse of power hurting people on purpose.
every black american ought to have these things at the top of our demands list: STOP bailing out corporations and fund the police for better training and the tools to fight crime. They need to understand the communities to know who is committing the crimes and who just wants to make it home or to work safely. It's the gangs that are committing the crime. Increased police presence will help alone with petty crimes committed by non gang affiliated criminals. DAs that will convict crime and make it impossible for violent criminals to keep getting out of jail due to no bail. Finally they need funding and real training in economics, incentives for businesses to open and create jobs, first time home buyer incentives, and controlled market rent in working class areas. They also need better schools by funding and programs for extra curricular activities to keep kids and teens AWAY from gang influence until 6 pm when mom or dad is HOME. These issues would be erased in 5 years. They can even give low level offenders opportunities for training in infrastructure, logistics and trucking, or trade skills.
We don't need cops if they won't do there jobs. We can all show some humanity and protect ourselves and each other . We can take criminals down ourselfs . Cops are not gods so stop worshipping them
