Main reason for inflation and lack of products is NAFTA and all the companies that moved their production to another country. Can't expect over 15 states to have close to 0 production of peppers and 0 production of avocado hass. Meanwhile mexico has all the production of both goods. Is the US not capable of proper agriculture? Yes! Yes it is, but local farms are ignored because it is cheaper to buy overseas.
