  1. It's gotten so bad that the only people who are going to have a roof over their head is the wealthy. I see comments all the time about the homeless situation and people thinking that it's all drug addicts but that is not the case anymore and more people are going to be in for a rude awakening.

  2. DON'T WORRY BETWEEN COVID KILLING PEOPLE, THE
    HUMAN TRAFFICING DISAPPEARENCES, HOMELESS
STARTING TO EAT CITY DWELLERS ETC…. WHEN THE
POPULATION STARTS TO DROP WHO THEY GONNA
CHARGE HIGHER PRICES TO THE GHOSTS ? ? ?

  3. My rent is 330 it was only raised by 30 bucks i save so much living here

  4. The Democrats agenda , destroy and laugh

  5. Landlords are unnecessary middlemen who add bloat to the economy. They add no value yet expect their lives to be paid for by people who work real jobs.

  6. How is this continuously allowed???

  7. Meanwhile rate of pay stays at 8.24 hour and they expect ppl to not commit crimes to pay bills lol I'm not working 4 jobs to keep these nazis happy

  8. Employers need to adjust pay if employees move to “cheap” cities to work remotely.
27 years in Austin and this influx of people has sucked the soul out of this city.

  9. Lol the lady who states people brought a lot of homes is completely ignorant of the fact that the majority of homes are owned by investment firms who are loaded with cash from the Fed's stock buyback programs and are seeking to create "passive" rent income. Like Zillow tried in Orlando but whenever it got too costly they dumbed them back on the market.

  15. Tesla moved in and rent goes up just like silicon valley California

  16. This is crazy…we have to figure out how to fight this. How are we supposed to live and pay rent. Groceries are high as well as gas. Insane prices

  17. Rent is not too high, wages are too low. Working middle class wages have not kept up with cost of living increases, bring back a strong middle class economy and everyone benefits.

  18. Let's all ROIT and protest. We all will be paying for air to breathe soon.. CAPITALISM IS PURE EVIL 😈

  19. I pay that for a 1 bdrm here in LA. You should try to find rent control buildings. These are buildings that are generally over 50 years old but still nice and rent controlled . Its still 4 to 5 percent tho…

  20. Florida is even more ridiculous 2000 for a one bedroom so look elsewhere 🥴

  21. More pressure from increased food prices to major taxes fails and incompetence from senators out of touch! Civil war is coming!

  22. Day Without Immigrants” to protest for immigration reform in the US.

Hispanic influencers and activists have asked the community not to work, shop or got to school on February 14.

The idea is that a day without immigrants will illustrate how much of our everyday lives depend on immigrants.

  23. This is what happens when your country's economic policies favor company involvement in housing big-time over the needs of the people at large. These investors got into housing in a big way, because interest rates are so low, they can borrow cheaply, and they can't make money on CDs or govt bonds anymore. The govt forces everyone to be a gambler in the stock market, or own assets like real estate with guaranteed income from rents. This is horrible for the people at large

  24. They said crimes and homelessness will also increase, you can't have one without the other they go hand in hand.

  25. And yet my paycheck hasn't even increased even 8%…

  26. Isn't capitalism wonderful.

  27. A straight to the point video. Thank you

  28. The next thing that will increase is Crime!! Like, people are just Losing It!! 😐

  29. Uncle Sam's War on the Poor brought to you by greedy gazillionaire oligarchs who have now twisted the Gospel of Jesus to make themselves exalted by God

  30. No. Rent will not increase.

Screw landlords and their money needs! What about ours?

There needs to be laws on the books codifying rent rules.

Landlords are bleeding this country dry and causing the larger portion of the homeless problem.

NO! Rent WILL NOT go up next year.

  31. The Government needs to step in really now

  32. You think homelessness up now.. just wait

  33. That sounds greedy of them! Father Philippines 4:19 "My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches and glory by Christ Jesus " amen 🙏.

  34. Also doesn't help with Bidens open border policies and welcoming in refugees by the thousands on an almost daily basis smh 🤦‍♂️

  35. A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine'" (Revelation 6:6).

  36. Capitalism is economic slavery. Time to grow up and invent a new system.

  37. When Those cheaters politicians
    stop take our blood

  38. Soon food banks will charge you

  39. Ban AirB&B, problem solved for rental stock. When it's more profitable to run your illegal hotel than it is to have long-term tenants, you run an illegal hotel.

  40. Get out of cities. Wayyyyy too expensive. That's why supply and demand is so high. Move somewhere further out from the city. Common sense.

  41. How can they even compare homes built 50+ years ago to homes built in 2020?

  42. Buy a house.. even if with multiple borrowers… get out of the rental market

  43. Buy an RV and live in it, much cheaper

  44. And when the homeless problem goes from bad to worst, much worst.

  45. My boyfriend and I pay $1500 for a studio and it’s an all open studio. no separated bedroom all of it is one big room. when we moved in there was no refrigerator we had to buy our own. We barely make enough we live pay to pay and we have to rely on food stamps. I am most likely positive if we didn’t have food stamps we wouldn’t have enough money for food at all. And with these gas prices it’s even worse. I don’t understand how people are taking this covid vaccine when the government doesn’t even help us with affordable housing you really think they’re trying to protect us from getting sick??? If we were to have a huge natural disaster you really think they would save us all??? They would get on their fancy boats and jets and leave us all doomed.
