But as the Ukrainian diplomat was saying, they’re only looking for defensive weapons. My understanding is that they need anti-ship missiles, anti-tank missiles, anti-aircraft missiles, counter battery radar, things like that, which are essentially defensive nature. So while there’s always a risk, of course, Vladimir Putin, who’s pushing his chips into the middle of the table here and really raising the stakes.

I am interested in WW3 because if China attack Taiwan, now we have the two new AXIS powers. I am now worried because although I live far away from Europe, I am closer to Taiwan. Of course, Russia also has a strong Pacific fleet of warships and subs. They can join forces to control the Pacific.

For the first time, or maybe second or third, I don't agree with Trump. Putin has no interest in making Ukraine part of Russia, but China believes Taiwan is part of China, much like Hong Kong, and as you see there, it is a much more difficult process to achieve that needs time, just as Hong Kong which is much further down the process is taking time. Russia's aim is to secure Russia's security and avoid a future with missiles that are a threat to the people, on its border. The aim for Russia just like for America in the Cuba Crisis is to secure peace in its region and security from any possibility of threats in the future for its people on its border. Ukraine's determination to join NATO brought home just how serious and wide spread this threat is getting or could potentially get across Russia's border. NATO's actions, even if not intended are developing into a threat able to spark off in a big way at any moment on Russia's border. Russia feel NATO and its weapons on Russia's border is like fuel poured around someone's house ready to spark off accidentally or not with serious consequences not just for Russia, but the world, at any moment.
