Ukraine is not of strategic importance to the US and Nato that is why Nato will not intervene in Ukraine.
The best solution to this crisis is that there should be an agreement between Nato and Russia to make Ukraine a neutral country.
Ukraine should not lean towards the West nor Russia.
The USA should pull their resources together and focus on asia to counter the Chinese threat.
What Nato is doing right now will just push the Russians into the hands of the Chinese.
The United States needs the Russians and asian allies to counter china and this is what the US is failing at.
