Putin never stopped being a communist. And he has a grudge against us about the fall of the Soviet Union. We spent trillions of dollars fighting the Cold War against the Russians but made the mistake of not spending more to try to help them rebuild their country, like we did the Germans and the Japanese, once communism fell apart. Putin is what we get for ignoring the lesson of the Treaty of Versailles. And, China never stopped being totalitarian communist. They just morphed into capitalist communists. Probably with the purposeful, long term goal of defeating us by lulling us into enriching them and making us dependent on them. Corporate America and venture capitalists, and our legislators fell for it hook, line and sinker too. As did we all with cheap consumer goods luring us into an orgy of consumerism that has pretty much trashed the world. Land and seas. But the thing about capitalism is that you have to have a seller and a buyer to have a transaction so our best weapon to extricate ourselves from our situation and to combat Putin right now, is to just not buy things from the ideologies we don’t agree with. That and shun the Russians, and Russian sympathizers at every turn and wherever you find them.
