Massive fire breaks out on a cargo ship carrying thousands of luxury cars in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. NBC News’ Jesse Kirsch has more on the story including the new images showing crew being airlifted to safety.

YES.. I think there is something at the bottom of Lake Toba which until now has not been able to be dived to the bottom of the lake by world researchers. It used to be before it became a lake because of a volcanic eruption thousands of years ago. Toba Volcano is a volcano with the largest eruption in the world. Initially, the story was mainland. After it erupted and formed a very large reservoir, it became filled with fresh water. .🆗

How about the fact that anyone that can afford one of those cars most definitely is not going to be suffering all that much. And if you're crying over a car that you have to wait an extra six months for, then I wish I had your life.
How about we worry about all the burning rubber and all the pollution, carbon and God knows what else that was burned and released into the ozone, the environment and who knows what fell into the ocean!!!…. I think there's much larger issues to worry about then some very very wealthy person crying about not receiving their car on time.

When the fire goes out and the whole thing sinks it will eventually become new homes for what ever creatures live at the depths of the ocean. Just like all the other ships that have gone down at sea.

I thought ships have fire suppression systems. Seems the crew left in a hurry just to save themselves. Should have stayed onboard to fight the fire. They will have to answer tough questions why they left so fast and left millions of $$ worth of cars to burn!

The Lithium Ion Batteries in the Electric cars may have caused the fire. I us lithium Ion Batteries in my Electric RC model aircraft and know they are in danger of causing a fire that is hard to put out, I keep them in fire proof bags for that reason when in storage and when charging.
No worries, they'll be on Craigslist before you know it.
