This is the new state of warfare if you can't win in a place like Afghanistan then resort to sanctions and other economical tactics currently deployed in the Russia /Ukraine scuffle. Non-European countries should take note that with the US/EU/UN grip on the financial markets, they need to design a financial/monetary market of their own to survive the new world order.

It's highly immoral of West/NATO to further cheerlead Ukraine (esp. civilians) to fight soldiers. It will only cause loss of lives. We know Putin is not going to stop, so for the sake of human life stop using Ukraine as proxy.
Here's an interesting perspective; whereas traditionally the US would've been the first & loudest voice against such an invasion, it is the European country being invaded, The Ukraine, that is taking the world lead here. And while under ordinary circumstances the US's allies might express varying degrees of conditional participation to the US's response, here is the US joining the rest of the world in strong, fierce, unanimous support. Despite the dark times this is very reassuring.

Actually, my mom went to Russia in the 90's on an exchange program between public school administrators and educators. She said that the Russian people were some of the kindest most hospitable people she ever met. I have known some Ukis for a few years. Also some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I don't wish ill on either people. This is purely political BS. All the rulers need to get their heads out of their asses. The "little people" are the ones who pay the price. May there be peace.
