That would both ban Russian imports of energy to America and would suspend normal trading relations with both Russia and Belarus. We ought not to be providing any financial support to the Russian economy in this war, nor should we be giving them favored trading status for their products coming into the United States.

In 2020, the US shipped more oil offshore than it imported. Why is that? Because the lying orange traitor and the republican cult allowed it. America doesn't need to import any oil, we have enough to run America, but then the oil companies can't make as much money and the republicans won't get as much funding for re-election. Here is a thought, nationalize our oil, set price points and stop all the stupid remarks about russian oil. We import 1.3% of our oil from russia and export over 50% to other countries. Does anyone else see a problem with republican thinking? Sometimes it isn't all about the money, sometimes it's about security.
