The mother of a student who says he faced severe bullying tells NBC News’ Antonia Hylton her 12-year-old son can’t afford to wait for those changes.

I feel sad for this kid. But I also recall living in my country (3rd world country) and there a was kid very female , at that time I didnt understand much about sexually preferences but he was always with the girls. I recall him punching and kicking girls or boys whoever would assault him physically..( words didn’t matter to him , he was a diva and I even remember his name till this day😅) personality is everything.

School sucked spent most my days having stuff thrown on floor or stolen and broken. Verbal abuse and physical.
Spent most the days being attacked from behind and choked. Was also hit with rocks and sticks for no reason.
It amazes me that bullying is still an Issue I mean with all the suicides and school shootings you would think it would stop.
The federal government should de fund the school and pay for private schooling of the victims. The perpetrators can pay for their own monsters to be educated.

Schools should put a stop to bullying, in kindergarten. Bullies should be made an example of, because they disrupt class, and other student's lives. If they don't change, hand they back to the parents, until they can act correctly.

You know what you have to do? Move out of conservative areas. They’re not going to change. They’ll only get resentful that you “told” on them, and bully you even harder. I speak from experience.
Middle school students will always bully the students that don't fit in without a lot of teacher involvement, which is rare. For other kids, it's one of the top performing public school districts in the country operating more like a college prep district-wide with a very high average SAT score and is somewhat diverse with Asian and Hispanic students. He really needs something more like a Montessori school, but they're private and most phase out before high school.
