The Russians dont need to be part of the outdated ISS. This year they will be part of the crew in the more modern and advanced Chinese Space station. The absense of the Russians in the ISS will accelerate it's decomissioning date specialy if the Russians decide to detach the Russian modules. This is actually a blessing for Russia and Cina
