The thing is that before this came out she said she used outkast as an inspiration and if you listen to Rosa parks by them you will see that same beat that that reggae band is accusing them of stealing even thought the Rosa park song came out first. Watch Adam Neely's video about this. It's not decided on mere listening. If it is, the law is garbage. There's no case.
Sadly, this wonβt be the last lawsuit filed against her for sure. Several of her songs sound similar to other songs. At least give credit to the artists. Not cool, Dua.

Nah these so called original artists shouldnβt get anything, if it wasnβt for dua lipa no one would know who any of these artists are, and she literally made the songs Better!! Way better! Rap artists when they sample the chorus of songs from the past are literally doing the same thing just actually copping the lyrics beat and melody of the song dua lipa is simpler not, at the end of the day dua has a lot more hits then just that one song, and she definitely got more in the chamber ready to unload, trust me when I say this, she is a literal Queen

Thereβs actually a great Adam Neely video on this. Although they sound similar, these rhythms are fairly common in certain dance genres and itβs kind of ridiculous to claim it can be owned by someone.
