It's supply and demand. When oil was $45 a barrel, oil companies chose not to pump because the prices at the pump were too low. Now when oil is close to $100 a barrel, oil companies will start pumping more. It has nothing to do with President Biden.
Oil prices today droped from $127 a barrel to $98 a barrel. Price at the pump went up 10 cents.

I get extremely good fuel economy when my car stays parked in the garage. Next to no driving keeps my car on the Gasaholic wagon. Bicycles get me out of the house or walking. Nice to need less than one fill-up a month.

Here's how we get beyond the gas crunch…stop buying gas fueled cars, trucks, vans, suv's, lawnmowers, leaf blowers and such. Oil industry executives are NEVER going to let gas prices go back to the days of $0.89 per gallon again. They want the money and will NEVER work with Congress to do what's good for the country. They answer to shareholders and investors ONLY. Even in 2020 when their was a massive surplus of oil on the shelves, we were still paying almost $2.00 a gallon and they were practically begging people to drive and buy gas. Electric cars and battery powered lawnmowers are the way forward. We just have to make it happen and move beyond fossil fuels.
