A clear warning needs to be made of the consequences of a chemical attack by Putin. If Russia executes it by air then the air ways should be closed to all planes and missiles by a massive build up in anti aircraft and anti missile defenses.
If Biden says so, how else can he put it? Don't waste your time listening to echoes.

I am appalled with the dishonesty of the Biden administration. If war crimes are being committed in Ukraine, then the U.S. and NATO are as guilty as the Russians. We continue to arm a country that has little chance of stopping the Russians thus prolonging the war and casualties. The likely reason that we oppose Russia here is not that we care about the Ukrainian people or the corrupt Ukrainian government but to send a message to China when the latter decides to invade Taiwan.
This whole exercise is about the consequences that China would incur if they decided to invade Taiwan. Of course, America is not going to militarily intervene to stop China from invading Taiwan but we are sending them a message about the financial consequences that they would incur. Deterrences work as long as you do not have to exercise them. We have just told China about our plan and when the Chinese government decides to invade, they would be ready to mitigate the consequences.
In this exercise of futility, many Ukrainians are going to die needlessly and we are pushing the Russian people towards extremism. I guess many of the President’s advisors have not read “The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli”.
