You can't establish a no-fly zone with only short range missiles, which is all Ukraine has. They also need long range missiles to complete a no fly zone.

When the sanctions came in did we forget a few months back it was reported that the Chinese and Russian warships were sailing as a convoy near Japan . If that news was true then and we remember that the two countries have a huge common border why are we even surprised if China bails out Russia commercially . Militarily they don't need any support .
