There is a shortage of truckers who don't mind low pay and working in hazardous conditions. Give truck drivers between 25 and 64 years old a raise and we'll have more qualified drivers on the road.

Semis shouldn't be allowed on the same roads as cars anyways imo. They are everywhere on the road its stressful. Just saw the aftermath of a van crushed by a semi yesterday. Apparently it wasn't the semis fault but thats what happens with only a lane of separation us from these tanks

The US highways and roads and bridges are not ready for something like this!! This is gonna be extremely dangerous! And trucks and sensors on them break a lot all the time for multiple reasons, what will happen when the cameras and sensors start failing in the middle of a highway? How are you gonna get to a self driving truck in the middle of heavy traffic because the sensors are faulty? You think there is lots of accidents now, wait until one of this big death machines are in the middle of bad weather on the mountains and little passageways without a driver!! 🤦♀️what a desperation to not have to pay truck drivers 🤦♀️
He said at the end….."the truck is not going to make mistakes" …..as a truck driver myself who knows after 18 hard grueling years how tough it is, I say to that…..we shall see how mistake-free it turns out to be.

I haven’t seen these trucks drive in bad weather yet. They always test driving these trucks in sunny good weather. They have a long long way to go before it’s self driving. To the The Traitor who helped the company drive the truck, maybe you should start training a younger generations of drivers to help with theses so-called “driver shortage” instead of being a stool pigeon for a company.
