The parameters of a "humanitarian corridor" will be violated by the Ukrainians, either with the approval of the west or their acquiescing to it, and Russia retaliate when they do. Russia has likely been holding back from the start to avoid as many civilian casualties as possible – to not put them in a more unfavourable light than they are already in. An NFZ will only make Russia more desperate and they will no longer pull their punches. Many Ukrainians will die and that's just the starter. If an NFZ leads t a direct conflict between NATO and Russia then all bets are off billions will die.

hard to believe Dr Farley is giving lame excuses that support his cowardice – no fly zone is essential and should include ban on missiles and jets especially hyperbaric and hypersonic missiles which the Russians are using on civilians is banned and a war crime anyway and should be policed – the west cannot be an accomplice to murder

NATO needs to grow a backbone. Start the no-flight zone in western Ukraine, protecting routes for humanitarian evacuations; enlarge that area to all of western Ukraine; and flood eastern Ukraine with ground-based air defence at the same time. Communicate clearly to the Russian people that we are saving Ukrainians, not fighting Russians. Then, let Putin make the first move. He won't, because behind like all bully's – he's a true coward.

I do not understand why NATO banned supplying Fighter jets for Ukraine, when it is actually easier than supplying S 300 air defense system because of its size and relative slowness to a jet plane. The jet plane can be launched from a secret location by Ukraine pilots and they can lob Missiles into Russia. In case they are chased by Soviet Fighters then these enemy jets can be down by S 300 anti air craft missiles.

There is a fire and everyone is worried about pulling the fire alarm because a firefighter could get hurt or that the fire could get worse. The only red lines that have been given Putin are NATO countries. And Russia will get their act together, then who is next, Sweden, Norway, Saudi Arabia or Israel?

I don't think people who support a no fly zone understand that it will be a bigger problem for the world at large. I do think they grasp the serverity of this. I understand that what is happening in Ukraine is horrible but the cost of a direct conflict with Russia is unfathomable. It sounds great on paper but it will be a loss for all. It will do nothing to help the situation, it will only make it worse. This is not like any other time before. The politicians who advocate for a no fly zone are so out of touch!!

If NATO enforces a no fly zone they would be responsible for shooting down Russian aircraft that refuse to leave said no fly zone. This is an act of war and would more than likely START WW3.
