When we say defund the police this what we are implying when you have a100 million dollar budget reroute some of that money into fixing some of the systemic causes for high crime in the first place like better education,after school programs, Social Services and mentor programs to help at risk youth.

Police officers are trained for 3 years in European countries. And not only on the weapon, but also in law and psychology. It is the government's fault that no standards are defined for this training. It is the fault that there are no training centers for this. It is the fault of the presidents, not the states.
We hope Trump recognizes this and changes it.
