The crisis in cuba is not economical , is a political crisis . They are running away from a 60 years old dictatorship that doesn’t know how to run a country
I work with a doctor who helps refugees here in AZ and let me tell you it’s about 300 to 400 refugees a day sometimes it’s insane. I think many refugees especially Latinos and some Europeans think when they cross the border american immigration will receive them with open arms but nope they are sent to jail. A lot of them tell me they never been to jail and it’s one of the worst experience ever. I always tell them look people from other nations think they will be able to walk right through it doesn’t work that way and it’s a process everyone has to go through. Cubans and Colombians and Indians and Georgians and Russians are the biggest groups now. Before it was people from Venezuela and Brazil but now it’s these 5 other groups. Honestly the US has a crappy immigration system and they should honestly in someways limit the amount of people to enter. I understand many people for good reasons but the amount of people coming in the system cannot handle and keep up.
