Members of the US Congress, especially on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Today you are holding hearings to decide if Judge Kentanji Brown Jackson is suitable to become a member of the Supreme Court of the United States.
Already a judge. Born in Washington, D.C. Her father, Johnny Brown, was a lawyer who ultimately became the chief attorney for the Miami-Dade County School Board. Her mother, Ellery, served as school principal at New World School of the Arts.
She is obviously African American, not that it should make a difference to enlightened, educated, Americans living in the 21st, rather than, the 20th, century.
She is considered one of the finest judges in the United States.
So, please, tell me and the world, why any of you don’t think she should NOT BE confirmed, or why she should BE CONFIRMED.
