Six girls, all Tishomingo High School students, were killed during their lunch break when their car collided with a tractor trailer. KFOR’s Kaitor Kay reports.

Kids are kids ,we used to fit 6 into a Ford Pinto in high school playing The Stones on Cassette deck and God only knows how many times we could have been these girls.. It's bad Karma to judge anyone in this accident..
I'm sorry for the loss of life of these young people. When your that young you dont ever think of anything happening to you. I know I didn't. What make or model of the car doesn't matter! I read some of the comments. They were young people enjoying there life…

All it takes is one person not paying attention to what is going on for. Split second. The car was surreal to look at. Will be interesting to find out what the investigation reveals.

The driver obviously was distracted and did not see the truck. Unfortunate carelessness can cost us on the roads.
Self driving vehicles can't come soon enough. Imagine all the lives saved. Roughly 35-40k a year.
There are way to many untrained Semi-truck operators, they are also driving at excessive speeds while messing with devices and half the units on the road probably need red tagged.
Then shenanigans like the convoy of freedom bring no light to the issues,
However I did see an operator lighting his joint in the convoy.

sounds like they dont want to say that six kids not looking no seat belts pulled in front of the truck , i feel sorry for him he has to live with this the rest of his life . all the parents and SCHOOL are to blame – WHYYY?! did they let six kids pack into that toy of a car ??????

My deepest condolences and prayers to the friends and family of the victims. I’m so very sorry. My son lost 3 of his best friends in a hockey team bus crash 4 years ago when they were hit by a semi. Any loss of life is devastating and tragic but when there are multiple victims it takes it to another level.
I definitely agree the driving age should be raised.
I know it's not the time to be pointing blame but that was a Chevy spark, designed to hold four people at the most, what are six girls doing loaded up into a tiny little car with a 16-year-old at the wheel. A little car like thatShe probably couldn't even see because of all the people inside but that means that there had to be four girls in the backseat which probably means two in the seats with two on their laps.
