I actually live 30 minutes from Arabie, The funnel system was directlly over my house at that time, It got unbelievably windy and a crap ton of hard rain mixed with hail. I was watching it all on my front porch, but I m crazy like that. I watched Hurricane Ida which hit me direclty on my front porch because the wind was coming from the back of my home, to which it ripped off half of my entire roof in the back and tore all the shingles off the entire roof. I could see the sky from the back end of my house.
But after that 10 minutes of insane weather Tuesday night with the storm system that hit NOLA, It traveled down our expressway, jumped the river and hit that little town. I work with quite a few people that have desimated homes. very heartbreaking, but God spared me and my home this time round. Praise be God, the glory to God.
