  1. 7 Eleven kept using the word “allegation”. Wrong. She had proof!

  2. This is why you use credit cards instead of your debit. Banks will not return your money….

  3. Nah this is like the 3rd 7/11 ive seen or heard having a skimmer this month. the other incident was in California and it was a dude exposing. And all the owner of that those establishment keep saying its not them. That its a customer who distract employees 👀👀👀 and its only the 7/11 with Indian owners . And we know most Indian be scamming. They even will copy bank phones numbers by taking every digit but the last number so im case you're accidentally dail the wrong number thinking its your bank . Almost fell for that but the scammer on the other end was too aggressive so before he could get my personal info i hang up looked at the number and realized i dailed the wrong number. Off by one digit. Have to becareful

  4. How would a card skimmer be placed at the counter without the clerk's notice? Somebody is in cahoots.

  5. Inside job…..pretty obvious

  6. Well uhm, gotta be the owner or store employees. There's no way a customer could do that. And uhm, look at all the security tapes. Gotta be there somewhere. I say an employee or the owner.

  7. No suspects? Seriously?

  8. How about when you need cash, go inside the bank and pay with cash by making a budget.

  9. Well from now on we're gonna use cash only

  10. Oh shoot I think this happened to me ..

  11. Don't use your debit card. More protection on credit card but you do have to file a fraudulent charge in a timely manner.

Set up notifications on your cards for use so you'll get a text when you're charged.

  12. Can a scammer get your information with paying with the tap method?

  13. Someone put that there. Check the camera.

  14. It's the cashier. You think they can't tell something's different?

  15. She only had 600 bucks in her name and someone had the nerve to rob her.

  16. Shut the 7-11 down..period!

  17. I bet the 7 eleven staff are in on that scheme

  18. Never use debit cards on pumps or basically anywhere unless for absolute emergencies. Only use credit cards since it's safer, easier to retrieve the money back since it's not your money but the CC company's money, their property, their problem. Where as using a debit card, that is your own money, your own risk.

  19. Can skimmers read when u tap the chip?

  20. Three people have come forward and it's too early to know who did it? Guaranteed if it was a scam on 7/11 they wouldn't be too slow on arresting you.

  21. It's probably the 711 owner..

  22. Good for her stay strong and its not only here its at the gas stations look carefully ppl ..today i caught this fool trying to short change me but it went sour for him….aint fina divulge further or i may incriminate MYSELF

  23. This is why I keep a low balance in my checking account for debit card purchases and transfer money from savings only as needed. It’s good that she got her money back and was able to prove it. Not everyone is so lucky.

  24. She’s smart! Good for her! Taking matters in her own hands! You go girl!

  25. Good for her. I wish it would be as easy to get the predator that has stolen over $30.000.00 from my mother in a romance scam last month. Worst part is we cannot convince her it is a scam!!!!

  26. Should get double back.

  27. I like how she just walked in and deconstructed the machine 😆

  28. And this is why I use the wireless verification.

  29. That this happened in Texas, full of republican Christians, comes as no surprise.

  30. I used to live in Sachse
That’s not too far from McKinney
    That is insane!

  31. Look at those gas prices 😑

  32. they have video of this device being put on the machine or they are idiots if i take a bag of chips they have video to prosecute wtf are these people stupid placing blame on the consumer when they find out the store is scamming them by letting it happen they are responsible for the care and maintence of the cc reader as they own it

  33. That's why I have my cards on my phone

  34. They didnt know who the culprit was? Isnt it obvious?

  35. Always use tap or chip is possible. Both of these make a onetime proxy card number, so the point of sale never gets your actual card number.

  36. I bet they were … Indian. They are the new Nigerians.

  37. Wow! Are the skimmers for tapping the card?
