Russia’s deputy defense minister has announced that Russia’s troops would “drastically reduce” activity in the West, around Kyiv and Chernihiv. Ukrainian officials have asked that all foreign forces leave Ukraine but will negotiate in exchange for security guarantees. Though talks continue, Russia continues to bomb civilians indiscriminately in Mariupol.

I hope they don't accept "neutrality". Don't give Russia your freedom. Donbas is one thing but neutrality is a trap.
If Ukraine agrees to neutrality or demilitarisation,it will leave my ancestral home completely exposed and vulnerable to complete Russian control.
Where is the ironclad guarantee for Ukraine's assured safety from total subordination by Russia? Ukraine may very well lose its hard won independence, democracy, it's sovereignty, it's very self… again. Who will then come to Ukraine's defence and aid then? Who?

Each day this War continues raises the certainty of an unforeseen calamity born of error and miscalculation. When that event occurs, decisions by both sides in this conflict will be made in haste and without forethought. The outcome will likely be the worst bad thing that can happen.

Stingers were given to the afghans during conflict with ussr. Some of them ended up on the black market. I am afraid that will be the same for the javelins and stingers going to Ukraine. Just wondering if they asked themselves that question too when they are pooring them in like hot cakes
I am eondering if the US and Europe have any idea what is going to happen to the weapons that they are pooring in to ukraine when this conflict is over? Do they calculate in the factor that Javelins and Stingers might end up on the blackmarket? Mouths need to be fed and houses rebuild!
