its not gonna get rid of illegal markets with an increased tax of 8% added on top of the near 30% depending on the dispensary I know people who think the current taxes are too high and only go to disposos on 420 otherwise they have a illegal plug more taxes higher prices will only increase demand for the illegal market.
Senate gets voted in every 6 years, guess what, this November they get elected or re-elected. Do NOT vote for any republicans in the senate this November as they are the ones holding the legalization.
They allow tobacco which has killed millions and yet call a plant a drug when it is just like tobacco which is a plant but tobacco has added stuff to it by the companies to keep you addicted to it, as where marijuana is just a plant that is grown and harvested and has more benefits then those social security commercials u see on TV.
Plus the taxes alone could help states in so many ways, and the drug cartels would loose BILLIONS of $$ due to legal Marijuana!

Decriminalize marijuana and legalize marijuana are two different legal goals. The first goal is to eliminate possession laws so you don't go to jail for having some weed. Letting prisoners out of jail and expunging their arrest record so they can get a job would be a part of decriminalizing cannabis. Legalizing marijuana laws should be up to the states to decide how much cannabis is going to be sold and who gets to grow it and how much you get to possess.
And then the Senate will reject it….nothing to see here…
