There are no civilians in Ukraine. Every man has a gun. They are just unarmed combatants in the guise of civilians asking for trouble. The first reaction would be to shoot them. They are not protesters. I feel sorry for them, but they should not be doing this. They should be hiding. They may have been forced by the Ukrainian army to protest. Ukrainians are capable of doing this.
Russians are not retreating anywhere. They are redeploying, so that the Ukrainians can come out of hiding and spread out. They are allowing the Ukrainians to take over the towns and confine themselves. The next attack will not come from the north but from the Black sea. The Russians want to capture the 60,000 Ukrainian soldiers who are encircled in Donbass region. Kyiv cannot help them. They have no escape routes. They are also out of food and ammunition. This will happen sooner or later. Mariupol may take a few more days to capitulate. The last city that will receive full attention will be Kyiv. The civilians should runaway to Europe while there is time. Kyiv will receive the worst battering. God help Ukraine.
