It’s interesting how the commentator spent 100% of his time critiquing Senator Graham, and 0% of his time supporting Jackson.
I suppose advocacy for a judge that overlooks the severity of child abuse/pornography it’s hard to advocate.

Susan Collins said she will vote for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation to the Supreme Court, becoming the first Republican senator to support for Biden’s nominee. Collins support all but guarantees that Jackson will become the first Black woman on the court. The Senate Judiciary Committee is expected to vote on Jackson’s nomination April 4, and Democrats plan to quickly move it to the Senate floor for a final vote before the start of a two-week recess
a MLK moment. Here is a great quote by Jackson that is felt worldwide : "I think it's extremely meaningful. One of the things that having diverse members of the court does is, it provides for the opportunity for role models. Since I was nominated to this position, I have received so many notes and letters and photos from little girls around the country who tell me that they are so excited for this opportunity and that they have thought about the law in new ways because I am a woman — because I am a Black woman — all of those things people have said have been really meaningful to them. And we want, I think, as a country, for everyone to believe they can do things like sit on the Supreme Court. So, having meaningful numbers of women and people of color, I think, matters. I also think that it supports public confidence in the judiciary when you have different people, because we have such a diverse society."
There have been 120 Supreme Court justices, only five women, only three people of color. So the idea that we're now dealing with some sort of quota for Black women is really kind of crazy and offensive. Crazy and offensive" can best be described in a lot of moments coming from the Republicans. U.S. Circuit Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, age 51, is certainly the best pick with the political momentum behind her which is going to be very strong. She is impeccably qualified for the court, and some still may ask why even with this list of facts below:
1) She has sterling credentials earned at Harvard
2) Twice confirmed with Republican support – was just confirmed less than a year ago with 53 votes, including three Republicans
3) She was nominated by Obama to be a district court judge.
4) She was Confirmed to DC court of appeals in June 2021
5) Biden elevated her to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
5) Early in her career, she clerked for justice Stephen Breyer
6) She attained part of her practice experience in the public defender's office
7) She is the first experienced Federal Public Defender that will serve on the Supreme Court
8) Ruled on Don McGahn congressional subpoena lawsuit – Ruled in the high-profile dispute between the House Judiciary Committee and former White House counsel Don McGahn, finding in 2019 that McGahn had to comply with the subpoena for testimony.
9) "Presidents are not kings. This means that they do not have subjects, bound by loyalty or blood, whose destiny they are entitled to control," she wrote. "Rather, in this land of liberty, it is indisputable that employees of the White House work for the people of the United States, and that they take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
10) She signed opinion ordering release of trump docs to Jan. 6 committee – She also was on the three-judge panel on the D.C. Circuit that rejected former President Donald Trump's attempt to keep the National Archives and Records Administration from turning over his White House records to the House select committee investigating the January 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol.
Jackson joined the opinion written by Judge Patricia Millett that found Trump "provided no basis for this court to override President Biden's judgment and the agreement and accommodations worked out between the Political Branches over these documents."
The Supreme Court ultimately gave the green-light for the National Archives to give the records to the January 6 committee, declining a request from Mr. Trump to block their release.

12) She is related by marriage to Former House Speaker Paul Ryan, a Republican, who offered his "praises" to her character and experience.
The 2 points Republicans made over & over again is that Judge Jackson issued sentences way below the guidelines & nearly 50% below the avg given by other Judges in cases of children being done unspeakable acts on images & videos. The other issue GOP have has nothing to do with defending people at gitmo but instead her filing/being part of an amicus brief with the court after the fact & calling the President a war criminal.
