The U.S. is calling for Russia to be stripped of its seat on the United Nations Human Rights Council after reports that Russian forces may have committed war crimes in Ukraine. During a visit to Bucharest, Romania, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Linda Thomas-Greenfield said Russia’s actions in Ukraine subvert every principle the Human Rights Council stands for.

About time ! Russia must be taught a lesson and comply with the rules of war . These numerous war crimes must not go unpunished and Russia must pay for the rebuilding of the Ukraine and pay compensation to those civilians who have lost family and loved ones .
Hundreds of dogs starved at the shelters in Ukraine. Only two survived with severe PTSD and near death. So this should not be just about human rights. Animal rights organizations need to speak up and humanitarian aid needs to be extended to the animals shelters and other animals on the loose.
It is absurd that Russia is on the comitee.
