Rahul Tripathi should hav played for India in 2021 itself. I remember Brian Lara,saying both Tripathi and Surya hav the ability to play for India during 2020 IPL. Selectors should keep an eye on Devdutt Padikkal ,also for next year.
It is fascinating how in our country a player(who played 200+ matches across formats and had good stats) has been retired for 4 or 5 years, people call him a legend or a great player whereas the reality is that the "Legend" or "great" status is/should be given to only very few players.Sachin, Dravid, Gavaskar, Lara, Ponting,Sangakkara, Warne, Mccgrath, Kumble and a few others are legends whereas Gambhir, Raina, Harbhajan and many were very good players but not great.Even Ganguly was a very good player but not legend.
