Finally a good reason for these nonalcoholic drinks. Definitely helpful for those in recovery or battling addiction. Wonder if the price point is 50% though. Otherwise huge margins on juice and water.
Gonna find people getting turned in the bathroom to liven up the place
Is this for people that want to be in a bar but can't control themselves?
This sounds friggin awful
Funny how Gen Z and Millennials are turning away from alcohol, and yet they suffer from a greater % of clinical depression than the boozy Baby boomers
A couple years from now they'll have a story saying these non-alcoholic cocktails cause under-21 people to want to move into drinking alcoholic cocktails. Ugh. It never ends.
Next week NBC has ads for non-alcoholic drinks/products. Nice promotion. Stop stigmatizing people who don't drink or don't want to! This would not be a story, but they have to sensationalize it by saying "this person used to drink", shame patrons who go there and say everyone who goes there does not want to get drunk or is a problem drinker. Many people do not drink, it's their choice. People should not be stigmatized or viewed differently because they choose not to drink. They also did this story on St. Patrick's Day, the "drinking day"/promotion of it… Yuck!
Yes! Hopefully it helps folks understand that alcohol is literally poison to the body and it breaks the Braun barrier an impairs the areas of the brain due to it being poison causing intoxication. It's is literally poisoning the brain and body. The only organ capable of processing alcohol/this poison is the liver. That's it. The rest of the body takes it as poison especially the brain! Stop drinking alcohol it is killing you. And it is a doorway to the demonic kingdom. They don't call them spirits for nothing! Beware
That’s like going to Katz and getting a fat free pastrami
So it's a fancy coffee shop
Love the idea. ❤
Liberals 😂 – if it’s non-alcoholic, it’s a juice or soda bar!
I love this idea and I think there should be more places like this. I'm thirteen years sober this month so trying to find social places can be difficult. Not every sober person struggles with the same triggers. I do caution those that are newly sober to learn what your triggers are and stay clear of them and to stay away from non-alcoholic drinks because they do contain a specific level of alcohol. Get a few years of sobriety before deciding if an atmosphere such as the one in this story is right for you. Whether you can or cannot handle places and drinks like this does not make you better or worse than someone else. Personally, I don't drink non-alcoholic drinks, but to each their own. ❤️
BETTER CONTACT COMEY AND THE CAPTAIN OUT OF OKLAHOMA
Ugh its coming people, the next prohibition is on the way….
I would drink a non-alcoholic old fashioned before one with alcohol.
I mean great but this shouldn't be a story
That's awesome, wish we had one close by.
That would just make me want to go out and drink alcohol, but that’s me.
Sounds like a nice night out.
You sit around waiting for somebody else to get your date drunk and it never happens. Hahaha
I don't see the point.
it's called a coffee shop popular spot for first dates.
Good luck, but I don't see this working.
In other words it's AA
So it's a juice bar? Lame
I'm starting my group "AA" ( alcoholic's acknowledged) looking for members
This is actually pretty cool! Sometimes ppl just want to hang out without the drunken shenanigans.
GEN X here I love to get drunk and play music. MORE BEER !!!
