One of the strangest things that I expirienced in the USA was being unable to send big money to people using a smartphone. For decades, South Koreans have been doing just that. At first using ATM, but now mostly at the bank websites on the smartphones or on the PC. If this was a dangerous thing, major disasters would have occurred by now. They would have occured not just once or twice, but many, many times. But no such a thing so far! I guess that it has something to do with the fact that Americans are loosely connected to the government. They seem to think that by remaining so, the individuals can be somewhat free from government power. That was totally ridiculous.
BOA could have made millions using your money in that one day !

And this is why a lot of people are running away from apps like zelle, venmo, cash app,because their account security is so poor, and their customer service does it's absolute minimum to help you recover any lost funds., Despite what they tell you on their website, or statements to the contrary from their PR office, whenever something like this becomes public knowledge.

B of A just helping itself to the money in our accounts. B of A not answering customer service calls when their hand has been in our accounts. I have not trusted banks in a long time. Had a thousand dollars missing and the bank rep said she could not help me and I would have to find the 'error' myself. No customer service at all. I finally got my money bank, closed my account and prefer the customer service a credit union offers.
